How do I get accurate prayer times?
Open Namaaz AI and allow location access when prompted. The app calculates daily salah times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) for your exact location using trusted calculation methods.
How do I enable prayer reminders?
Allow notifications when first launching the app, or enable them later in iOS Settings > Notifications > Namaaz AI. You'll receive a gentle local notification when each prayer time begins.
My prayer times look wrong — what should I check?
- Confirm location access is granted and accurate.
- Check your selected calculation method — different regions use different methods (MWL, ISNA, Egyptian, Karachi, Umm al-Qura, etc.).
- Verify your madhab setting, which affects Asr timing (Shafi'i vs Hanafi).
- Apply optional time adjustments/offsets if your local mosque follows a custom schedule.
Does Namaaz AI collect my personal data?
No. Namaaz AI works privately on your device. We don't require an account and don't collect your name, email, phone number, photos, or contacts. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Is there an account or sign-up required?
No. Just open the app and allow location and notifications. That's it.
Are there ads or tracking?
No. Namaaz AI contains no advertising and no cross-app tracking. It's a clean, focused prayer companion.
How do I delete my data?
All data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes everything immediately.
The app isn't sending reminders. What now?
- Make sure notifications are enabled in iOS Settings > Notifications > Namaaz AI.
- Check that Focus / Do Not Disturb isn't silencing alerts.
- Ensure the app has location access so times can be calculated.
