Automatically collected: The app may request permission to send you local notifications (reminders) and, optionally, access to your device location. Granting these permissions is optional and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.
We do not collect: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, photos, contacts, or any other personally identifying information.
2. How We Use Information
- To calculate daily prayer times for your location.
- To schedule and deliver local reminders/notifications on your device.
- To remember your preferences between app sessions.
Prayer time calculations use established, publicly available calculation methods. Location data is used only on-device to determine timings; it is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
3. How We Store Information
All scheduling data, preferences, and reminders are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your personal data. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed.
4. Third-Party Services
The app may use Apple's standard system frameworks (such as Core Location and UserNotifications) to function. These are governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that profile you across other apps.
5. Data Sharing and Selling
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party. As required by Apple's App Store guidelines, we confirm that Namaaz AI does not engage in the practice of tracking users across apps and websites.
6. Your Privacy Choices
- Notifications: Enable or disable reminders in iOS Settings > Notifications > Namaaz AI.
- Location: Adjust or revoke location access in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
- Delete data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
7. Children's Privacy
Namaaz AI is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. As the app collects no account or identifying data, no special protections for minors are required beyond the standard handling described here.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
